Towards a Scalable and Reliable Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) System

Abstract:"No great civilization has been built without some well-defined system of transportation." Modern transportation today encounters great challenges in safety, mobility, environment, and space.Vehicle toEverything (V2X), the umbrella term including vehicle to vehicle (V2V), vehicle to infrastructure (V2I), vehicle to pedestrian (V2P), vehicle to cloud (V2C), vehicle to sensor (V2S), etc., will be a game changer for modern transportation. However, there are many research issues and challenges remaining unsolved and beckoning further investigation. In this talk, we first brief the scalability and reliability challenges of V2X system, and introduce some of our solutions. Hope they inspire more research efforts and advances, contributing to the new era of V2X.
